Porsche has enjoyed two great years in 2015 and 2016. The carmaker has set a world record for sales in 2016 when they sold 237, 778 vehicles and they owe a lot to the Porsche Macan.

The sales of Porsche were up 6% compared to the year before and they revealed that the Middle East, Africa and Asia-Pacifica were where most of the vehicle had been sold. 95, 642 units of the 237, 778 were of the Porsche Macan.

The Porsche Macan hasn’t been the only vehicle that has carried Porsche of course, but the carmaker does own it a lot. The Porsche 718 Boxster and the Porsche 911 also saw a sales growth.

The engine in the Porsche Macan is the 2 litre turbocharged four engine and this gives up 252 horses. You can also opt for the V6 twin-turbocharged and the GTS offering 360 horses. The GTS gives a top speed of 159 miles per hour and you should get around 17mpg when driving in the city and 23mpg when out on the highway.
