Pokemon Go: Players Get Another Shot At Moltres

By  |

If you missed out on your chance to capture the Legendary Bird Moltres, you will be given another chance now as Niantic announce the special treat for the fans this week.

As a reward for completing the Global Challenge during the Safari Zone event in Yokosuka, Japan last week, Niantics will be bringing back Moltres into the game this Saturday on the 8th of September.

Take note that the bird will only be around for a limited time so you will need to make full use of that time to capture it. The event will only last three hours so check and see when it will start in your region. For NA, it will be starting at 11 AM PT or 2 PM ET.

During the event, players will be able to receive up to five free passes by spinning the photo disc at the Gym. Moltres captured during this event will have the moves Sky Attack. There is also a chance to encounter a Shiny version.
