Opel New Concept Will Give Us A Taste Of Opel’s Future

By  |

Opel has just released a new teaser showing us a new concept hidden beneath a white sheet. The concept will be introduced later this year.

According to Mark Adams, the vice president of design, the new concept will show what Opel plans to offer in terms of design in the future. Besides teasing their new concept, Opel also talked about some of the plans they have for the future.

With Opel now being part of Groupe PSA, we can expect to see all future models come riding on the Common Modular Platform and the Efficient Modular Platform. The flexibility of this platform should allow Opel to use it to underpin coupes and crossovers.

Opel also added that their upcoming Opel Corsa will come riding on the CMP platform. The vehicle will be coming in as an electric vehicle and it will be built in Zaragoza, Spain. Opel plans to launch 4 electric vehicles by 2020 and this will be one of them.
