Nokia Lumia 950 XL Or Samsung Galaxy S7: Is There More Than First Meets The Eye?

By  |

There may be more to the Microsoft Lumia 950 XL and the Samsung Galaxy S7 than first meets the eye. Both of the handsets offers cameras that are superb, but which out of the two handsets is the best?

The Windows phone doesn’t offer a camera that is packed with features. It does have Rich Capture and this means that you can change the exposure of the image once the photograph has been taken. It also has ISO, focus, brightness and shutter speed controls.

The Windows camera doesn’t even offer up many basic features, for instance even the most basic of filters or panorama modes.

The app of the Samsung Galaxy S7 has lots of features and these include plugins that you can add on from the Samsung store. Rear Camera Selfie and Animated Gif are just two.

The Microsoft Lumia 950 XL is known for saturating photos too much and it leaves us with an image that is unrealistic. This does happen to be interesting as it was the Samsung cameras that used to saturate images

The cameras at the front of both of the handsets are 5MP and the one on the Samsung Galaxy S7 offers up the bigger aperture as it is f/1.7. The camera on the Microsoft Lumia 950 is f/2.4. The Samsung Galaxy S7 camera records in 1440 video, while the Lumia can record at 1080p.

The Samsung Galaxy S7 camera comes with a camera but the same cannot be said about the Microsoft Lumia 950 XL.

The best camera at the front is the Samsung Galaxy S7 as this is superb in low light and you don’t need a flash. The Microsoft Lumia 950 does give some results that many say are disappointing. This means that we have chosen our winner as the Samsung Galaxy S7.
