Nokia Lumia 920 Is Just A Taste Of Things To Come

One thing people want with phones today is a large display. Manufacturers are bringing out smartphones with 5 inch displays, which seem to be about right. Of course with the Samsung Note 2 the display is 5.5 inches, however this is in the phablet range. It now seems though that Nokia could be taking a leaf from the book of Samsung by way of a larger Nokia Lumia 920 variant reports Phone-Reviews.

Nokia Lumia 920 sibling to sport 5-inch display (rumor)

A photo has been posted on My Nokia Blog of a Nokia Lumia handset running Windows Phone 8 and it has a large display. The text on the “About” screen on the device says that the device is the property of Nokia and that it isn’t for sale. This may mean that it is a device that Nokia are planning on bringing out; however at the moment there is not a lot of information about the handset.

What happens to be interesting is the fact that the device seems to run Windows Phone 8, as it has Family Room live tiles, but it looks as though it has the home button of the Windows Phone 7 and the old Windows Phone logo.

There is another image on the device which shows off the setting screen and this shows that the handset comes with the S4 processor of Snapdragon, the display is 480 x 800 and the name of the device is the Juggernaut Semaphore.

Given that the Nokia Lumia 920 is Nokia’s current large handset, 4.5-inches, it makes sense that they are to release a larger version given that it falls below its major rivals e.g. Samsung Galaxy S3, LG Nexus 4, HTC DROID DNA and the Motorola DROID RAZR HD.

Xbox 360, Playstation 3, Nintendo Wii, PC, iPhone and Android games keep Berke busy at work all day. Honestly though we’re not sure why we’re paying him as it should be the other way around.
