Nokia Lumia 920 Sequel, Lumia 1000, Could Be EOS International

There has been some news about the Nokia Lumia 1000 handset which many consider as a sequel to the current flagship Nokia phone the Nokia Lumia 920.

While this device did seem to be a sure thing, there wasn’t a lot of talk about it that is until now. China Mobile, who is the largest carrier in the world, has said that the Nokia Lumia 1000 is on their database.

We did recently hear about a Nokia handset with the name of the Nokia Lumia EOS, which is said to be a PureView Windows Phone handset. One carrier to have it is AT&T and it was said to have been made from aluminium. The device is set to be unveiled in 2013 and it should have a sensor that is very similar to the Nokia 808 PureView at 41 megapixels.

Upon seeing the listing for the Nokia Lumia 1000 it has us wondering if this could be a new device or if it was the international version of the Nokia Lumia EOS. The name Nokia Lumia 1000 does make the handset sound as though it would be a flagship device and as it may come with the PureView sensor it does sound as though it will be something very special. If the Nokia Lumia 1000 is a different handset it would go alongside the Nokia EOS.

Let’s hope that it won’t be long until we get to hear more about this device at the MWC, which is set to take place later this month over in Barcelona. Nokia do have an event on 25th February so perhaps this will be when we will hear a lot more about the Nokia Lumia 1000 and the Nokia Lumia EOS.

What do you think? Are the devices the one and same or is one a Nokia Lumia 920 sequel and the other something else?
