At the MWC HMD Global revealed the new series of Nokia devices but they failed to show off a real flagship handset. However they did reveal the new edition of an old handset, the Nokia 3310.
Recently on Twitter Nokia also admitted that they were freezing out the Carl Zeiss technology. Then when HMD Global was asked about this they gave a different story.
The Twitter posting was referring to the phones that exist, the Nokia 3, Nokia 5 and Nokia 6. This leads us to believe that HMD might be trying to get the Carl Zeiss lens technology onto their future flagship handsets.
This doesn’t confirm that future Nokia devices are going to come with the Carl Zeiss lens but it does mean that it might be possible.
So there is the chance that in the future we could get to see the Nokia Lumia 1020 successor make its way into the Android arena.
