Nissan Terra: US Customers Got In The Way?

By  |

There have been a lot of rumors about Nissan possibly bringing the Nissan Terra over to the US but according to Nissan, that is not going to happen.

Nissan explains that they think it will be very difficult for them to sell the Nissan Terra in the US as it is one of the toughest markets. They added that besides the crash test, the customer’s expectations were also one of the reasons why they don’t think the Nissan Terra should be brought over.

The Nissan Terra is currently being offered in Southeast Asia and China. Depending on the market, the vehicle is being offered with either a 2.5-liter petrol engine or a 2.3-liter diesel engine that will be delivering about 187hp and 450Nm of torque.

Do you think Nissan is making a mistake by not bring the Nissan Terra over to the US? Do you think it would survive if Nissan does bring it over?
