Nissan will be peeling the covers off its Nissan Ariya next month in Japan. Here is what we know right now.
According to Automotive News, the vehicle will officially be announced on the 15th of July in Japan. The vehicle was first shown off as a concept last year. It was added that the vehicle will be coming in with the ProPilot 2.0 driver-assist tech which will also come in with hands-free highway driving and the driver-monitoring system.
Powering it could be the e-4ORCE dual-motor all-wheel-drive powertrain which we should also learn more about when Nissan reveals the vehicle next month. The new Nissan Ariya would most likely be built at their Tochigi assembly plant. So far, we were informed that the vehicle will have about 300miles of driving range and will be able to go from 0-60mph in less than 5 seconds.
It was in the same annual shareholders meeting where CEO Makota Uchida announced that he was going to give up half of his pay and also promised a recovery by 2023.
