Nintendo Switch Online App Got Fans All Riled Up

Last week, Nintendo released the new Splatoon 2 game and along with the new game, they also released the new Nintendo Switch Online application which is basically an app where players can voice chat while playing Splatoon 2.

Since Nintendo wants to improve the teamwork of their players in the game, they wanted to ensure that their fans have a way to communicate with each other and at the end of the day, this is what they came out with.

While it does work as a voice chat app, fans were not too happy about how the app works. To make sure that you are connected at all times, you devise screen must stay on. As if that is not bad enough, the voice chat will drop if you ever try to open up another app to reply to a text and do anything else. Basically, this means you are stuck with the app until the game is over.

The app just does not feel like it was well thought out and you can bet that the fans are going to get angry about it.
