Nexus 7 vs iPad Mini vs iPad 4: I Want To Play A Game

SquareTrade is the latest to put some of the new devices through torture tests to see how well they stand up. Recently they took the iPad 4, iPad Mini and the Google Nexus 7 and put them through a series of tests, or abuse, to see which of them would hold up the best.

The tests made use of what they described as a “drop bot”, that ensured that each device was dropped fairly. In tests undertaken in the past it seemed that the fate of the device would all depend on the random point of impact and the bot helped to level the field.

The tablets were dropped onto their corners and their screens and then they were dunked under water. The tests reveal that the iPad Mini held up the best, so does this prove that great things come in small packages?

Of course the test could be contested as those undertaking the tests ruled the Nexus 7 out because it reset itself after being submerged in water. This may be a data saving feature of the device as opposed to it failing. Check out the test below.
