Next-Gen Porsche 911 Won’t Be Separated By Fenders

One of the fastest ways to know if the Porsche 911 is the lower specs models in the past was to look at the fenders since only the AWD and GTS models were given a wider fender but now, that won’t be the case anymore.

According to the reports, the upcoming Porsche 911 models will all be getting the wider fenders. Although the wheelbase will remain the same, the car will be about an inch longer in length because of the longer front overhang.

All models will also get staggered wheel sizes. Porsche also upgraded the engine so that the base model will now be able to offer 15hp more than the previous model. The S trim would be offering about 30hp more. The seven-speed transmission will also offer a final-drive ratio to account for the larger wheels. The seven-speed PDK will now be upgraded to an eight-speed PDK.

The Porsche 911 coupe should be heading to the LA Auto Show next month.
