Next-Gen Mitsubishi Triton: Still Going Strong After Leaving Us

By  |

Mitsubishi took out the Mitsubishi Triton from their US line up some time ago but they continue selling the trucks in the other markets and now they are almost ready to show off the sixth generation model.

The new teaser model released by Mitsubishi showed off part of the Triton’s front. So far, the design matches what we have seen on the pickup truck’s concept. We got to see the “Dynamic Shield” front end as well as the sharp and angular lines. Overall, it looks unusual but still great.

The Triton will most likely be a body-on-frame pickup with a part-time selectable four-wheel drive. Turbocharged diesel four-cylinder will most likely be offered as well.

Since pickup truck’s demand is rising in the US, do you think Mitsubishi should reconsider the Mitsubishi Triton for the US market once more? If it does come, it will be competing with models like the Toyota Tacoma, Chevrolet Colorado and more.
