Next-Gen Kia Soul EV With New Design Spotted

By  |

Kia is about ready to take the covers off the next-gen Kia Soul EV but before that happen, all we have now are these new spy shots of the prototype when they took it out for a drive at the Nurburgring.

There is no denying that this is an EV since the charging port could be seen on the grille along with the E license plate. As expected, the vehicle will be getting lights in the front and back with signature LED lighting strips below the actual headlights. We could also see the sensor placed low in the front which suggests that adaptive cruise control will come as standard on the EV model.

Design changes were also made in the back. No word on what engine Kia will be using to power the Soul EV but it is believed that it might get the Kona powertrain which is offering about 258miles of range on the vehicle.
