New Honda Accord Could Take On Drivetrain Of Acura

The Honda Accord has held its place as being the top midsized sedan for more than 40 year; however more recently it has been on a downward spiral as the sales have been slowing down.

The sales slowdown was said to be down to the 10th generation of the Honda Civic, which is moving into the territory of the Honda Accord. The Honda Civic is a compact sedan but it has grown over the years and now it is nearly the same size as the Accord and it offers better fuel efficiency.

Now we are hearing that there is a new version of the Honda Accord coming our way and that it won’t be affected by the Honda Civic. Rumors suggest that the next generation vehicle is going to be coming our way in 2018 and it should offer up the turbocharged SH-AWD engine of the Accura.

If so the Honda Accord would give a driving experience that is unique and pleasurable and one which the Honda Civic isn’t able to match. Of course at the moment this is nothing more than a rumor so you do have to take things with a pinch of salt.
