Never Alone Dev Announces New Underwater Game

Beyond Blue will be the new game from developer E-Line Media, the same studio behind the game Never Alone and this time, they will be taking us into the sea.

The new narrative-driven underwater exploration game will be developed with the help of a scientist and the BBC. Players will be playing as Mirai, a leader of an underwater research team. Mirai can explore the ocean and discover new marine life.

There is also the whole resource management which will affect the whole adventure. The game will feature some footage from Blue Planet II similar to how Never Alone gave players an insight in Alaska Native culture.

This is just one of the many ways BBC Studios want to get the public to learn about the world and understand it better. The first Never Alone game did pretty well and they are hoping Beyond Blue will also have similar results.
