MTV Volt Android Phone Revealed, Falls In Between A Nexus 4 & 7 [PICS]

MTV have launched an Android handset with the name of the MTV phone in India along with partnership with Swipe Telecom. The device falls in between the Nexus 4 and the Nexus 7, with a 6 inch HD multitouch capacitive display. It has a resolution of 854 x 480. It may not be in the same league as the LG Nexus 4 or even the Samsung Galaxy S, as both of these offers a screen which is better than the Apple iPhone.

The Processor is a dual core 1 GHz NTT 6577 with 512 MB of RAM. It has 4GB of storage and this can be expanded through SD card to 32 GB. The device also runs Android Jelly Bean 4.1.

The device comes with a camera of eight megapixels along with the front camera of 1.3 megapixels which is aimed at video chatting. The weight also falls in between the Nexus 7 and Nexus 4 at 239 grams. The device will be $241 and it will be interesting to see how India will respond to the Android handset.
