A smartphone with the name of Motorola XT907 dubbed the RAZR MINI has breezed through FCC reports DroidLife. It has the 4G LTE bands of Verizon and comes with support for NFC.

Motorola DROID RAZR MAXX to soon be joined by RAZR MINI on Verizon

This handset was first posted on a parts site in China a little over a month ago. It is thought to be a middle of the range handset and its dimensions tells you why the smartphone has been dubbed the Motorola DROID RAZR MINI (doesn’t refer to its battery capacity like in the case of the RAZR MAXX). Measurements are 44.35mm x 98.72mm x 49.17mm only.

At the moment there is very little information about the handset other than it will have Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and NFC. However thanks to the UAProf for a device with the number XT905, there are some indications that it may have a screen that is qHD with navigation keys that are on screen and it could have the Snapdragon S4 processor. It is thought that the handset will come in white and look very similar to the Motorola Atrix HD handset.

If the specs of the handset turn out to be correct you have to ask yourself if we really need another variation of the Motorola DROID Razr, as it would be virtually the same but with keys on screen and NFC.
