Motorola Mobility will launch not one but two new HD devices following the release of the iPhone 5 by Apple this year reports PopHerald. They will launch the Motorola DROID RAZR HD and the DROID RAZR MAXX HD.

Motorola DROID RAZR HD release date pegged only after iPhone 5 arrives (rumor)

This is the latest rumor regarding the anticipated Droid Razr HD, so if true those waiting to get their hands on the device will have to wait until September or October, which is the rumored release date for the iPhone 5. This would also be one year after Motorola launched the Droid Razr with support for LTE and the qHD AMOLED display.

The original handset has a small battery while the Razr Maxx took over in popularity with Verizon thanks to its whopping 3300mAh battery that gave users a lot longer time for talking. While it has been suggested that Motorola will reveal two handsets, some are saying that they may only release one and this is expected to be the Droid Razr HD.

If Motorola decide to launch the Droid Razr HD after the release of the Apple iPhone 5, how much damage would it do to Apples sales? It is thought that the Razr HD will have LTE, a larger screen than its predecessor, support for NFC and a new look. The handset would also be in competition with the Samsung Galaxy S3 and the HTC smartphone or tablet, or even phablet, which has been rumoured to come with a 5 inch touch display of 1080p HD.
