Official Motorola Android 4.0 Upgrade Schedule Is Terrible

While Samsung and HTC appear to be updating their list of existing smartphones to Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich, Motorola looks to remain resting on their laurels.

Motorola Android 4.0 upgrade schedule filled with more delays only

The good news though is that after months of being silent, Motorola has finally come up with an Android 4.0 upgrade schedule for their most popular devices. Unfortunately, it is strewn with delays and make us wonder if Android 5.0 Jellybean maybe out by the time most of these devices get a taste of Ice Cream Sandwich.

Here is the new Motorola Android 4.0 upgrade schedule highlights:

Motorola DROID RAZR Android 4.0 update gets relisted from “early 2012” to 2nd quarter. The Motorola DROID Bionic and Motorola Photon 4G are now pushed all the way back to 3rd quarter.

Other popular devices like the Motorola DROID 3, X2, Motorola Admiral, Motorola Pro+, Motorola Defy Mini, Motorola Defy+ MB526, Motorola Fire, Motorola Fire XT, and Motorola Motoluxe, will all remain on Android 2.3 Gingerbread unfortunately.
