Mini has announced that they will be giving their petrol powered Mini model an upgrade to help reduce their emission rates.

The upgrade will not be noticeable at all but that does not mean that it is not important. According to Mini, they will be installing a filter in all petrol- powered version which will allow the vehicles to meet the requirements of Europe 6d-TEMP emission standard.

Mine models including the Mini 3 door, 5 doors, Convertible, Clubman, and Countryman will all be getting the filter and this is not the only update that Mini is working on right now.

Mini also added that they will be introducing a seven-speed Steptronic dual clutch transmission as an option for their models this month. This along with the new filter will improve the overall fuel efficiency of the Mini models.

Besides that, there is also the new Connectivity Package which will be offered to the Mini Clubman. The package will come with additional features like wireless charging, Apple CarPlay, 8.8-inch touchscreen, navigation and more.
