Microsoft Lumia 950 XL Still Has Some Life In It

Although the Microsoft Lumia 950 XL is still the top smartphone from Microsoft right now, the device is already a few years old and a lot of people are already starting to consider getting a replacement for the Lumia 950 XL but if you own one, you might want to hold on to it for a little longer.

We know that the Windows 10 Mobile Creators Update will be arriving this month and while Microsoft has not revealed the list of devices that will be getting the update, most people believe that their flagship, the Lumia 950 XL will definitely be getting it.

According to Microsoft, not all devices will be getting the update but they have not revealed the actual list yet.

ZDNet reported that the Microsoft Lumia 950 XL will be one of the device getting the update along with devices like the Alcatel IDOL 4s, OneTouch Fierce XL, HP Elite X3, Lenovo Softbank 503LV, MCJ Madosma Q601, Microsoft Lumia 550, Lumia 640.640 XL, Lumia 650, Lumia 950, Trinity NuAns Neo and VAIO VPB051.

If everything goes according to plan, the Microsoft Lumia 950 XL will be getting the update on the 25th of April this year.

We know that Microsoft is slowly trying to remove the Lumia 950 and 950 XL from the market. Some of their online stores have already stopped offering the device. This has led many to believe that a new Microsoft smartphone is on the way. The fans are hoping that it is the Surface Phone but we will have to wait and see.
