Microsoft Lumia 950 May Not Be The Likeable Device You Think It Is

By  |

Microsoft has had a tough time trying to persuade people to make the move from iOS and Android handsets to Windows. There latest device is the Microsoft Lumia 950 but does it have what it needs to take over from some of the top handsets on the market?

The display of the Microsoft Lumia 950 is 5.2 inches. It is 1440 x 2560 resolution and it has 32GB of storage along with running on the Snapdragon 808 processor. The device also comes with support for SD card and it offers 3GB of RAM.

The Microsoft Lumia 950 does come with plenty of things in its favor but at the same time there is also some downsides to the handset. One of the biggest is that it runs on Windows OS. Windows OS isn’t known to offer plenty of apps as the iOS and Android devices offer.

But what do you think? Would you leave your iOS and Android handset and go with Windows 10 Microsoft Lumia 950 instead?

I have had the 950 since it’s debut and cannot complain about the device itself. I am a diehard Microsoft user and have supported the Windows phone since it’s inception. The problems I have found with the device stem from 10 being new not from the device itself. Glitches here and there are still being ironed out and are to be expected. The camera is amazing, the user interface and accessibility is phenomenal. All features certainly surpass anything an apple or android product can offer.

I have had 3 Android phones and an iPhone. Then I switched to an HTC 8XT running Windows 8 and I upgraded it to Windows 8.1. I will never own an Android or an iPhone again. As far as a shortage of apps everything I need is available so that is not an issue for me.

Is it really that important to have a huge amounts of apps. I mean when you look at the majority of the apps that are provided mimic at least 50 others. So isn’t it more important to have a few quality apps that will actually do the job that really should be doing
