MG HS Compact Crossover WIll Have Western Markets Drooling

By  |

Ford will not be the only automaker that is looking to get their crossover SUV into the Chinese market as MG has announced that they are also looking to release the new HS compact crossover that is limited to the Chinese market.

We did get to see the design when they showed off the X-Motion Concept at the Beijing Auto Show this year. The vehicle will be coming in with five seats and features like a panoramic sunroof, leather trim, Bose sound system, ambient lighting and more.

MG has not revealed all the other equipment that the HS will be getting but it looks like safety systems like the Blind Spot Monitor, Lane Keep Assist and Adaptive Cruise Control would be offered as well. Under the hood is a four-cylinder turbocharged engine that will be offering about 228hp and 266lb ft of torque. There is also the new Super Sport driving mode.
