Mercedes X-Class Pickup: More Is Always Better?

The Mercedes X-Class pickup truck will be coming in with a new version that would allow it to offer more power and features.

Called the X350d, the new trim option will sit on the top as the new range-topping option. The vehicle will come powered by a 3.0 liter V6 diesel engine that will be offering about 255hp and 405lb ft of torque. The engine will be mated to a seven-speed automatic transmission and will be offered with all-wheel drive.

The top of the range X-Class model will come with five drive modes starting from Eco, Comfort, Sport, Off-Road and Manual. Features like the Active Lane Keeping Assist, Active Brake Assist, Traffic Sign Assist, Hill Start Assist, Thatcham anti-theft security package, Downhill Speed Regulation, load securing rail system and more will be offered as part of its standard safety kit.

The new model will only be offered for the Power trim level only which will be offered with painted bumpers, rear bumper in chrome, fog lights with chrome surround, LED high-performance headlights with cleaning system, LED taillights and more.

The new Mercedes X-Class is expected to arrive in November this year.
