There is some good news for the Porsche 911 Turbo S as the Mercedes-AMG GT: Black Series isn’t going to arrive on the streets until 2018, so the 911 isn’t going to be challenged until then.

Fans have been waiting to hear about the arrival of the Mercedes-AMG GT: Black Series and it seems that they are going to have to wait for a while longer, in fact until 2018. But what has been the delay for the vehicle? It seems that the Black Series of vehicles don’t come out until the end of the production cycle.

The CEO of AMG said that one issue every carmaker has is how to make an awesome vehicle that people love more than any other. He went on to say that they were working on the Black Series and putting ideas together for what they are able to do for the car. One thing they don’t want to offer is just an overpowered vehicle.

He said that the Mercedes-AMG GT: Black Series chassis is able to handle more power but the bad news was that the V8 naturally aspirated engine wasn’t an option. Of course many people think that the wait is going to be worth it. The goal of the company is to offer something that is going to be amazing.

So while you do have to wait until 2018 to set your eyes on the Mercedes-AMG GT: Black Series it is looking as though it is going to be well worth the wait.
