Lincoln MKC To Be Replace One Year Sooner?

By  |

There were talks about Lincoln possibly replacing the Lincoln MKC with the Lincoln Corsair and now new reports are saying that the replacement will be arriving in 2020 which is one year earlier than what the previous reports were suggesting.

It is believed that the Corsair is being pushed forward as part of Ford’s plan to kill off their sedan models and focus more on crossovers, SUVs and pickup models. While we still do not have many details about the upcoming vehicle, it is said that it will be borrowing a lot of its elements from the Aviator Concept including mirrors, front fenders, taillights and more.

When Ford showed off the Aviator concept in New York, the vehicle was fitted with a plug-in hybrid leading some people to believe that the new Lincoln Corsair could also come with an electrified engine.

Of course, these are all just speculations for now so it best to take it with a pinch of salt first.
