LG Nexus 5: If It’s Coming, This Is Probably It

By  |

The LG Nexus 4 has been selling well over in the US and the handset took it base from the LG Optimus G. The device is now making its way to Europe and China and there is talk of the LG Optimus G Pro. We have seen confirmation of this by way of renders and promotional materials.

The G Pro handset is with NTT DoCoMo in Japan and it comes with a display of 5 inches of HD. It has a 3000mAh battery and there is talk of yet another device which may have a screen of 5.5 inches. Rumour has it that this will be revealed at the MWC later this month.

The device will compete with the HTC M7, the Samsung Galaxy S4 and the Sony Xperia Z.

The LG Nexus 4 was based on the LG Optimus G and if work is being made on the LG Nexus 5 this new handset could well be it.

So what do you think about a new Nexus device with a display of 5 inches of full HD with resolution of 1080 x 1920. It would be even better of course if it had the 1.7GHz Snapdragon quad core processor, LTE, 2GB of RAM, a camera of 13 megapixels, one of 2 megapixels which records 1080p video.

It is thought that the LG Optimus G Pro may have a 3140mAh battery and it could come with a display of 5.5 inches, 32GB of storage internally, SD support for up to as much as 64GB and a design of unibody.

The LG Nexus 4 comes with some great hardware but the device is let down by storage, which is a maximum of 16GB and it doesn’t have LTE. However these are two issues that could well be resolved when the next LG Nexus 5 is released.
