Official LG Nexus 4 Store Checker Goes Live As Google Hopes To Make It Easier For Fans

There are many people who prefer to play around with a new handset before they hand over money for it. However with the LG Nexus 4 this hasn’t been the case. Google have now released a tool that will at least make it easier to find out when the device is in stock at a retailer close to you.

The app works off Google Maps and the app is very easy to use. Just put in your address and the zip code and the map will tell you the locations where the LG Nexus 4 is available for you to go and buy it.

However when I used it the only place it was available was the T-Mobile store. I got the device from Google Play Store where the device is unlocked and not on contract and it costs a lot less than what T-Mobile charge for it. However there is nothing to say that I couldn’t have checked out the handset at T-Mobile before getting it from Google Play Store.

The 8GB LG Nexus 4 is still sold out in the Google Play Store despite LG saying they would catch up with demand by February. There is no word on when it may return at this time.
