LG Nexus 4 Available In Google Play Store A Little Too Late

Everyone expected one of the most difficult to get hold of devices of 2012 would be the Apple iPhone 5. However you can practically walk in to any Apple Store and pick one up. The device that is hard to get hold of is the Android 4.2 LG Nexus 4.

LG Nexus 4 shortage problems

The LG Nexus 4 was released in November and since then it has been out of stock more than it has been in stock. Since its release the shipping times have been trailing further and further behind and if you could place an order today, you would have to wait until February or March before it arrived at your doorsteps.

When it comes to Android handsets, being able to get them in a timely fashion is the key to success. People will hang around for the Apple iPhone for example because they know that a sequel to it will only come along a year later. However with Android it’s not the same as there will always be something better coming along weeks down the line.

Between today and the end of next month, there will be many Android devices released that will be an even match, or even beat the LG Nexus 4. This means that if you have been waiting for them to come back in stock, something else could catch your eye before the LG Nexus 4 is readily available.

I’ve been using the Nexus 4 Stock Alert app from the Google Play Store right now. This will notify me when the device comes in stock. However I will admit that if the Samsung Galaxy S4, HTC M7, Motorola X or Sony Xperia Z come first, I may pass on the LG Nexus 4 altogether.
