Finally Got Your LG Nexus 4 Order In? Think Again

By  |

The LG Nexus went on sale a couple of days ago and it sold out within 25 minutes of it being available in the Google Play Store. Many people sat at their computer patiently refreshing the Nexus 4 webpage over and over to try and order the LG Nexus 4, and the servers of Google apparently weren’t able to keep up with the traffic. If you got one in your cart and checked out then you were among the lucky ones… or were you?

Successful LG Nexus 4 orders being turned to back orders

According to the Twitter feed and inbox of DroidLife, a lot of people are now starting to get emails from Google telling them that their order of the LG Nexus 4 has been placed on back order. This is due to the overwhelming demand for the handset. The email goes on to state that they can expect their devices within a period of three weeks.

Google then tells the unfortunate people that they will be sent a notification when the device has shipped and that shipping charges will be credited, and of course they apologised for any inconvenience. This just goes to show that Google may have taken in more orders than it could fulfill.

Of course, this isn’t the first time this has happened this year. We had a similar situation with the Google Nexus 7 just a couple of months back. So, are you experiencing the same issue with your LG Nexus 4 order or is it still scheduled for shipping?
