LG Nexus 4 Will Return To Google Play Store Again But It May Lose Its Spark By Then

If asked which handset would be out of stock last year, the chances are that people would have said the Apple iPhone 5. However you can get it at any Apple Store. The device that has been elusive is the LG Nexus 4 with Jelly Bean 4.2 and continues on to this year.

LG Nexus 4 shortage carries into 2013, rivals in sight

The LG Nexus 4 was launched in November and since then it has been rare. From the release date the times for shipping have got further behind and if you were to be able to place an order today, chances are that you wouldn’t get the device until late in February or early March.

Quick Availability for devices running Android is essential. It is ok to have to wait months for the Apple iPhone 5 for instance as Apple release only one each year. However this cannot be said about Android handsets, there is always something bigger and better just a couple of weeks away.

Before the end of February we will see many Android devices that either match or beat the LG Nexus 4. So if you happen to be waiting for the handset then the chances are that another handset will pop up before you get the LG Nexus 4.

There is an Android app available at the Google Play Store that will tell you when the LG Nexus 4 is back in stock (Nexus 4 Stock Alert). You get an alert when the device is at the nearest store, in the US, UK, Australia and Germany. However the alert may arrive too late as there are devices such as the Samsung Galaxy S4, the HTC M7, Motorola X and the Sony Xperia Z, all making their way early this year if rumors serve true.
