LG Nexus 4 Android 4.2.2 Update Linked To Random Reboots

By  |

If you are the proud owner of the LG Nexus 4 you may already know that the update to Jelly Bean 4.2.2 is out. Those who have updated have been asked about issues following the update with random restarts of the handset and there was a large response. Many people said that they have not had any issues; however there were a few people that said they did.

So the question is whether the update to Android 4.2.2 has fixed  restarts that are random? The update has rolled out on the LG Nexus 4, the Google Nexus 7 and the 10, along with the Samsung Galaxy Nexus. So have you had any issues with the device restarting, following the update?

The update was sent out to fix problems; Phones Review said that it fixed the undocumented LTE on the device. It also fixes bugs, however we are concerned about the device rebooting randomly and whether this update fixes it.

The update includes Wi-Fi and Bluetooth icon long presses that would switch them off and back on again and if you haven’t made the update yet you can download it from Google. Let’s hope that it stops those random reboots.
