8GB LG Nexus 4 Now Only Shipping In March Again

By  |

The LG Nexus 4 8GB version was seen in stock again last week and this was the first time, this has happened since December and the shipping times for the handset have been getting further and further behind and are now at three to four weeks.

Both the 8GB and the 16GB version came back into stock at the Google Play Store after it had sold out in 2012 when they were released. LG had said that supply issues would start to settle down in mid-February and it looked as though they were keeping to their promise. However now it looks as the device is still suffering issues as the 8GB version is now showing delayed shipping times. The LG Nexus 4 8GB shipping times have begun to slip.

The 16GB version of the device is listed as shipping in one to two weeks and the 8GB version has now go a three to four week wait. However Google typically ships their devices before the shipping dates, but if you order the device today then you may not see it for another month or so.

This is the first time the date has been moved back since the handset came into stock last week and it looks as though it might continue happening.

In November the shipping times increased continually until eventually people were looking at waits of two months. Shortly after this the device was out of stock completely until it made a brief return last week.
