LG Nexus 4 Successor Has Some Serious Hardware, LTE & Key Lime Pie?

Many Android fans want to get their hands on the LG Nexus 4 but rumours have been going around that its successor is on the way and it may have Key Lime Pie installed. According to IB Times, specs have been leaked for the LG Optimus G2, which could be the basis for the LG Nexus 5.

LG Nexus 4 successor, Nexus 5, could be based off Optimus G2

The source has said that we may see Key Lime Pie which would be Android 5.0, early this year, around May possibly. It will come with improvements and one would be the use of multiple user profiles. There may be better performance modes, which mean that the user would be able to choose battery life over hardware performance. Twitter may also be integrated better.

The LG Optimus G2 is thought to have a display of 1080p at 5 inches. It could come with the 2GHz quad core processor, have improvements to the camera and may support LTE. At the moment there is no proof that LG will offer us a new Nexus device; however we have heard rumors of a Nexus Partner program which suggests more than one phone maker will be offering a Nexus handset simultaneously. The LG Nexus 5 would come in as the “5” and it could be related to to its Android 5.0 build, the 5 inch screen with 1080p or the most obvious fact that this would be the 5th Nexus handset.

LG have for the most part done a great job with the LG Nexus 4. The handset has great build quality, it comes with solid hardware and design that is great. All that it was missing was LTE and more storage. These are all things that we might see on the LG Nexus 5, fingers crossed.
