LG G5 Owners Within Reach Of Android 7.0

By  |

If you are the owner of the LG G5 you are in for a real treat as it has been said that LG is starting to send out Android 7.0 Nougat to the device in South Korea.

The LG G5 is a modular handset available in South Korea, Asia, America and other countries and LG are claiming that they are the first phone maker to roll out Android 7 Nougat on Marshmallow phones. The LG V20 was the first handset to be launched by LG with Nougat preinstalled and this came before the Google Pixel handsets were launched in the majority of countries.

The only downside is that only owners of the LG G5 are going to be getting the update to Android 7 Nougat today those who have bought the device in other regions are going to have to wait for the update to arrive and this is said to be happening in the weeks to come.

The rollout of Nougat for the LG G5 in Korea does give us an indication that the updated hasn’t seen any technical issues and so the release of it for people in the US shouldn’t be too far around the corner.

Do you own the LG G5 and are you looking forward to getting Android 7.0 Nougat on your handset?
