Owners of the LG G4 and the LG G3 have been getting the update to Android 6.0 Marshmallow and now the owners of the LG G2 are looking to see if they will be getting the update.

LG didn’t say what handsets they were going to update and that are old now, so owners of the G2 are hoping that there handset is going to be among them.

The LG G2 on Verizon has been benchmarked running Android 6.0 Marshmallow and the results of the benchmark were fair. The test results were made running on a custom ROM so for the time being we are still waiting on what LG has to say.

The LG G2 scored the same in single core along with getting 2728 in the multi-core over at Geekbench. So even if Android 6.0 Marshmallow isn’t offered by LG, owners should be getting a stable custom ROM in the not too distant future.
