LG G2 Owners Get Sweet Tooth Thanks to Android 6.0 Marshmallow Update

Owners of the LG G4 and LG G3 are going to be getting the update to Android 6.0 Marshmallow but now there is talk of the LG G2 also being given the update.

LG hasn’t said anything official about updating the LG G2 to Android 6.0 Marshmallow and they haven’t said anything about just how far back they will be going with the update.

However recently the Verizon version of the LG G2 was seen in benchmark tests and it had Android 6.0 Marshmallow installed. The test came out pretty good, so it is safe to assume that we are going to see a custom version of the ROM on the handset very soon.

On the single core of the LG G2 running a custom ROM of Android 6.0 Marshmallow the handset was around the same. In the multi-core it came out with a score of 2728. So whether or not the device gets an official update, you can be sure that owners will be offered a custom ROM from developers.
