LG G2 Owners Get Android 6.0 Marshmallow

LG G4 and LG G3 owners have been waiting to get their hands on the update to Android 6.0 Marshmallow. However there are many who still own the LG G2. This is now considered an old handset but it is looking as though they are going to be getting the latest OS on their device to give it a new lease of life.

LG hasn’t said anything about giving the LG G2 the update to Android 6.0 Marshmallow and they didn’t make it clear as to how far back they would be updating their handsets.

What we have seen is the LG G2 and it was running a custom version of the Android Marshmallow ROM and it did very well in benchmark tests.

The LG G2 ran a custom version of Android 6.0 Marshmallow and in the single the results were about the same, while in multi-core the handset came in with a score of 2728.

From this LG G2 owners should be secure in the knowledge that if LG doesn’t offer the Android 6.0 Marshmallow update they will at least get it by way of a custom ROM.
