LG G2 Made Sweeter Thanks To Android 6.0 Marshmallow Update

By  |

Owners of the LG G2 are going to be treated to some sugar by way of the Android 6.0 Marshmallow update. Owners of the older handset were a little jealous of the LG G4 and G3 owners, however it is looking as though they needn’t be.

People don’t like the thought of being left holding a handset that is out of date. Owners of the LG G2 are the same. At the moment we haven’t had official news of the update coming to the LG G2 officially but it should just be a matter of time before it does.

We have seen the LG G2 Verizon version in benchmark tests and it was running on Android Marshmallow. The results were fair and this may mean that the update is going to be launched soon. The test was made using a custom version of the ROM so if an official version doesn’t come our way, we should get it unofficially.

If you are the owner of the LG G2 on Verizon you may wish to keep checking to find out if you can update, either by the unofficial route or official.

Will Verizon do the right thing and automatically download this upgrade to ALL of us Verizon customers??? They certainly should at no charge!!!

I’ve had Marshmellow on my VS980 for a few months now. CM13 has had this for some time.
