LG G2 Gets Sweeter With Update To Android 6.0 Marshmallow

It is looking as though LG G2 owners are going to be getting the sweetness of Android 6.0 Marshmallow after being envious of owners of the LG G4 and LG G3.

No one likes to think that they are going to be left with a handset that is outdated and owners of the LG G2 are no exception to this. Right now there hasn’t been any official news about the device being updated by LG but surely it must be around the corner.

We say this as we have seen the Verizon version of the LG G2 running in benchmark tests and it had Android Marshmallow installed. It was a custom version, so even if LG doesn’t offer the update, developers may.

So if you are the owner of the LG G2 with Verizon you might want to keep checking your handset to see if you can download and install the update or search for a custom ROM.
