Jeep Wrangler vs Ford Bronco: Spilling The Beans

By  |

Two of the most anticipated vehicles in the US are the 2018 Jeep Wrangler and the Ford Bronco. We are expecting the Wrangler to offer up plenty of new updates and Bronco will be a welcome return after such a long absence. So what do we know about the two?

It is thought that the 2018 Jeep Wrangler is going to have a design that is made from aluminium, this should include the hood and doors. The vehicle should keep the seven slotted grille along with the round headlights and it is thought that it will have the LED light bars on the fenders at front, with taillights much like those found on the Renegade crossover.

The 2018 Jeep Wrangler is expected to offer the V6 EcoDiesel with the turbocharged four cylinder powertrain and the shift design may be similar to that of the Dodge Challenger and Charger, possibly the eight speed automatic.

We have heard that the 2018 Jeep Wrangler pickup could be revealed at the end of the year or possibly 2018.

We haven’t seen a Ford Bronco launched onto the market since it met its demise in 1996 when production stopped. There has been talk that the next generation Bronco may be based around the 2017 Raptor, however more likely is the fact that it will have the body on frame construction of the Ford Ranger. The Bronco may be more akin to the Ford Everest, which also has the underpinnings of the Ranger.

There has been talk of the Ford Bronco offering the V6 EcoBoost turbocharged four cylinder engine and it has been said that the vehicle is going to being production in 2018 and be launched as the 2019 model. It is hoped that the price tag will be below the $25,000 mark.

But which vehicle are you going to be the most excited to see, will it be the Ford Bronco or the 2018 Jeep Wrangler?
