Jeep Wrangler Diesel: No Point Getting Excited Yet

By  |

Jeep has announced that the new 2018 Jeep Wrangler will be arriving before 2017 ends. One of the best news we have heard so far is that the new Jeep Wrangler will come with a diesel engine option but you might want to wait until 2019 to plan your off-road trip because the diesel model will only be arriving much later.

Although the standard model will be arriving before 2017 ends, Jeep confirms that the diesel powered Jeep Wrangler will be arriving early 2019 which means there will be a huge 1-year gap in between the diesel and the standard model.

The standard Jeep Wrangler model will be coming in with a 3.6-liter V6 engine that will be mated to an auto or manual transmission. The other engine option is a 2.0 litre four cylinder engine that will only be offered with an auto transmission.

We also know now that the vehicle will come with a hardtop with power sliding openings.
