Jeep Grand Cherokee: 20th Time The Charm?

By  |

You would think that with so many years of fixing, the Jeep Grand Cherokee will have fewer issues now but according to Motoring, the vehicle will be recalled another time due to its cruise control software.

According to the report by Motoring, the cruise control software on the Jeep Grand Cherokee may cause the speed to lock or increase because of the Power Control Module software. If the driver does not shift to neutral or apply brakes to stop the vehicle, this could put the driver and passenger at risk. The same issue was also the reason why the Jeep Cherokee was recalled last week.

Jeep Grand Cherokee that will be affected by the recall includes those from 2014 to 2018. A total of 4095 units will be recalled. This would be the 20th time the Jeep Grand Cherokee was recalled in Australia.
