Jaguar Land Rover Still Believe In Diesel

By  |

After what happen with Volkswagen, there has been a clear drop in demand when it comes to diesel-powered vehicles but it looks like Jaguar Land Rover is not ready to give up on it just yet.

According to Joe Eberhardt, the North American Cheif Executive of Jaguar Land Rover, the sales of their diesel-powered models here in the US have been increasing instead of decreasing.

He added that the customers are still happy about the fuel economy, range and torque of their diesel-powered options and they have no plans to drop their diesel engine in North America anytime soon.

Of course, he also added that he knows that things are not the best for diesel engines now but they will continue to try to make it work for them as they still feel like diesel engines play an important role in helping the environment.
