iPhone 6S, Nexus 6P and Samsung Galaxy S6: Which Was 2015s Best Device?

Now that we are into 2016 there has been people wondering what the best device was to come out of 2015. Three of the best were the Nexus 6P, the iPhone 6S and the Samsung Galaxy S6.

We believe that out of the three it is the Google Nexus 6P that comes out ahead. This is chosen as it was better than the previous version of the Nexus and it holds a great deal of potential for the future.

The Nexus 6P is a luxury handset and it does offer up a superb design and looks. It has competed against the iPhone 6S and the Samsung Galaxy S6 and it beat them. The design of it is aluminium and it offers up a fingerprint sensor.

The Nexus 6P has a display of 5.7 inches and it is 2K AMOLED and it offers blacks that are deep along with some great viewing angles. The display of the handset is protected by Gorilla Glass 4, so it doesn’t show up a lot of fingerprints. On the downside some people have said that the bezels are too wide, however this is just a matter of opinion.

But what do you think, does the Nexus 6P come out ahead?

I have an iPhone 6 and it works fine for me but I looked at these phones this year. The iPhone 6S provides nice performance upgrades but they’re not enough to get me to upgrade. I like the iOS ecosystem because it is smooth, predictable and supported. My son has a Nexus 4 (we have had many Nexus phones over the years) and he’s complaining about software glitches with the phone which isn’t surprising since Google removed support for it a few years ago. I do like the Google Fi service available with the Nexus phones but I have run into headaches with Nexus devices and I’m in the Apple ecosystem with iPads, iPod Touch devices and iPod Nanos (they’re great for running). If I had to upgrade right now, I would look hardest at the iPhone SE because that would be great for running as well.
