Now that we have gone into 2016 people have been taking a look back at which smartphone came out ahead last year. Some of the most talked about devices include the iPhone 6S, Nexus 6P and the Samsung Galaxy S6. But which was the best?

The winner of the handsets for 2015 was the Google Nexus 6P. This is the handset from Google that is said to deliver the potential for the Nexus range and its better than ever before.

The design of the Nexus 6P has been described as being luxurious and this is a device that offers a design that competes well against the iPhone and Samsung handsets. The body is aluminium and it is sleek looking and comes with fingerprint sensor on the back.

The Nexus 6P has the 2k AMOLED display at 5.7 inches and the viewing angles are wide and the blacks are deep. It offers Gorilla Glass 4 and is resistant to fingerprints. It is a slim and compact device but it is tall and the bezels at top and bottom could be too wide for some. Also the Samsung Galaxy family of handsets have better brightness.
