iPhone 5 Retina Screen Overrated, Loses All Bragging Rights To Nokia Lumia 920

Phil Schiller may have been wrong when he declared that the iPhone 5 had the most advanced display on any device. Why? Because the Nokia Lumia 920 was announced weeks before the iPhone 5 and according to Nikola Balov, it has a display that beats the iPhone 5.

Nokia Lumia 920 display technology trumps iPhone 5

The Clear Black Display technology on the Nokia Lumia 920 adds a mode of high luminescence and this improves the contrast along with the brightness outdoors and performs superbly. This is an area that Apple has not made any improvements in with the iPhone 5.

The Nokia Lumia 920 has PureMotion tech which provides a faster response time of up to 2 times faster for individual pixels compared to the IPS screen which has a refresh rate of 60 Hz. This means that you get movement on screen that is very smooth. The Lumia 920 display also has super sensitive touch, which means that you can use the display even if you are wearing gloves or using your nails unlike the iPhone 5.

This is just the tip of the iceberg of course. Check out the infographic below to see why Phil Schiller was incorrect when he was bragging about the display when the iPhone 5 during its official launch.
