The LG Nexus 4 comes with pure Android, Jelly Bean 4.2 and the Samsung Galaxy S3 has Jelly Bean 4.2, updated from Ice Cream Sandwich. The Apple iPhone 5 has iOS6 and this is the most streamlined of the operating systems. The Samsung Galaxy S3 also has an 8 megapixel camera and this support LED flash and autofocus. There is a 1.9 megapixel camera on the front. The Apple iPhone 5 comes with an 8 megapixel camera on the back and a 1.2 on the front. All of the cameras have something different to offer. With the best BSI sensor the winner has to be the Apple iPhone 5.

Conclusion: The Apple iPhone 5 should be the easiest of the three devices to get a hang of and it has the best design. The LG Nexus 4 gets points for the price of the handset and the fact that it has great hardware, however it does lack when it comes to some features like LTE and storage. The all-round winner is the Samsung Galaxy S3 as this has a good balance of price and features.
