iPhone 5 vs HTC M7 vs Galaxy S3: Boss Fight!

You may have thought that the battle of smartphones would be between the flagship devices from Apple and Samsung. However soon there is HTC to consider with the HTC M7. HTC have not yet given confirmation of the device but we have heard a lot of rumours that the smartphone maker is working on the M7. So how would the device match up against the likes of the Apple iPhone 5 and the Samsung Galaxy S3?

iPhone 5 vs HTC M7 vs Samsung Galaxy S3

Rumour have it that the HTC M7 would have a display of 5 inches; however it is more likely that it would have one of 4.7 inches. While this would make the device smaller than the 4.8 inch display of the Samsung Galaxy S3, it is thought that it will have full HD capability at 1080p. it is also thought that the M7 will have a 1.7GHz processor along with 2GB of RAM, which would ensure that it would be the most powerful of the three handsets. The device may also come with Jelly Bean 4.2 along with the latest version of HTC Sense. When it comes to the camera it could be a 12 megapixel, with a camera of 2 megapixel on the front, both would have 1080p video recording.

The Samsung Galaxy S3 meanwhile comes with a display of 4.8 inches with resolution of 1280 x 720. This can be compared with the display of the HTC M7, however the specs do lag behind it. The Samsung Galaxy S3 comes with a dual core 1.5GHz processor, along with 2GB of RAM. It has the 8 megapixel camera on the back along with a 1.9 megapixel on the front. However these cannot match the camera on the HTC M7 if rumors serve true. The Samsung Galaxy Samsung S3 has Android 4.1, which is the older OS than the one which would come on the HTC M7 as well.

The Apple iPhone 5 has failed to make a decent mark on the world of smartphone hardware and it will be impossible to do so once the HTC M7 launches. The iPhone 5 has the display of 4 inches, which is 1136 x 640 resolution, which helped it to lose out in 2012 with the competition that surrounded it. The Apple iPhone 5 has the 1.3 dual core A6 processor, along with 1GB of RAM, which is inadequate to the competition that the Android devices offer. The Apple iPhone 5 comes with iOS 6 which does happen to be smoother than the previous versions, however it is still boring as nothing has changed much. The 8 megapixel camera does match that of the camera on the Samsung Galaxy S3, while the camera on the front is 1.2 megapixels.

So it looks like HTC may have a champ with the M7 if rumors come to fruition. We may have to wait until next month only to find out.

Xbox 360, Playstation 3, Nintendo Wii, PC, iPhone and Android games keep Berke busy at work all day. Honestly though we’re not sure why we’re paying him as it should be the other way around.
